Get your game on in France

CGAMES, the 7th international conference on computer games, will be held November 28-30 in Angoulême, France. CGAMES follows on CGAIDE 2004, a conference focusing on game AI, design, and education. See below for the full description of the call for papers. Submission deadline is September 30th. The timing is perfect for combining this with a trip to DAC.

Call for Papers

You are invited to submit a paper on any topic related to computer games design, technology and education. This covers (but is not limited to) games design theory, interactive narration, artistic design and modelling, sound and music design for games, cognitive and ergonomics aspects, social aspects and education, security principles and technology in game design and development, games AI principles and tools (intelligent agents, neural networks, GAs, fuzzy systems, case-based systems, machine learning etc), real time animation and rendering, protocols and technology for distributed, mobile, ubiquitous and mixed reality games, augmented reality for games, games middleware, CASE and programming concepts for games.

We strongly encourage the submission of papers related to the design and the experiments of original type of games, in particular in the fields of serious games, ubiquitous, mobile, cross media platform and massively multiplayer on line games.
