Contribute to AI Standards

The IGDA’s AI Interface Standards Committee is recruiting new members, from both industry and academia. See the call for applications below, open until February 20:

Some years of busy work are behind us, and it’s time to replace some positions that have become vacant over time. Thus, it’s your chance to join the Artificial Intelligence Interface Standards Committee (AIISC), and leave your mark in the standardization process!
If you are interested in joining our committee, please provide us with the following information (in plain ASCII text):
– Name, e-mail address, company/affiliation
– Which working groups you’d be interested in:
– Working Group on Finite State Machines
– Working Group on Goal-oriented Action Planning
– Working Group on Pathfinding
– Working Group on Rule-based Systems
– Working Group on Steering
– Working Group on World Interfacing
– Support Team
– Why you think you would be a good addition to the committee
– Industry: List of game titles (including your role)
– Academia: List of related publications/projects
– Preferably also a personal reference and a list of active involvements in “common good” type projects
