Sort of an aside since it wasn’t interactive, but the visual style here reminds me of the “MS Paint” comic/animation genre that I was a fan of in the late 1990s and early 2000s, particularly stuff like Rejected (2000), Taco the Wonder Dog (2001; also: 2002), and L33t Romeo & Juliet (2004). Which reminds me as even more of an aside that not that much of that “first wave” of Flash art is easily accessible anymore—I could only link to the Taco the Wonder Dog videos because a fan uploaded them to YouTube, and there’s plenty of stuff I can’t find at all if the original author disappeared and never archived their stuff at a central location (the Internet Archive doesn’t archive animations).
